1975 Suzuki RE5, 479cc single rotary, wet multiplate clutch and five-speed constant mesh transmission, 10,000 miles, in Cadillac, Michigan for $2,000.

The listing states:

The condition of the bike is as follows, the bike is in non-running condition, the gas tank has rust in side and I think the rust made it to the carbs so you may as well call it a non starter, it turns over just fine but it only has a small POO when it trys to start.

The rest of the bike is in good shape like the chrome, tires and lights the paint is dull, the tank has small dents and the cover over the speedo is broken (See pictures) but for a 1975 it looks just like what you would think it should.

All parts are 100% original from when it was new.

cool bikes. I rode one ONCE. The radiator is freaking huge between your legs. Very strange sensation to ride a rotary bike. Rotor tips are likely smoked but are available. Maybe for 1000 that would be a sweet project though. If it was a Norton Commander or Interpol 2 it would be worth it all day (twin rotor in the interpol!)

Absolutely. Looks like they stole it from a drive through bank teller and just threw it in there and made it work.

I traded a guy my old Kawi triple for one of these on a leg of a cruise once. It was hot, uncomfortable, and drank tons of fuel with little pay off. Cool period piece, but I wouldn't want to own one.
